NOTD: Sinful Colors Out Of This World

Hi ladies!
Today is NOTD post! A while ago I purchased a few Sinful Color polishes, so today I'd like to show you one of them =)
It's called Out of This World and it's a silver sparkling polish with multicolor micro shimmer. It's a lovely color, the only thing I didn't like about this one is that it applies quite sheer, as you can see from the pictures too...
I've applied two coats, but the nail tips are still visible underneath.

Another "problem" is that it dries very slowly!!! So if you are (like me) always in a hurry, don't do your mani with this polish! :P

Apart from that I really like the shade and for just 4,90€ I think it's ok ;-)
Have you got any SC polishes? How do you find them? Let me know!

Madina Party: la mia (bellissima) esperienza...

A quando il prossimo evento??? :D

ultimi ritocchi...

Lista dei prodotti usati (grazie Anna!!!):

  • Crystal Care Purity + Purity Serum come primer ad effetto purificante e levigante
  • Photo Concealer (correttore in crema effetto photoshop!)
  • Twist UP Pencil - matita waterproof 24ore

Grazie infinite!!
Io, Berlandina, Madina, Cristian, Fiamma, Des e Veronica

Un saluto e un abbraccio grande!

Benefit Silky Matte Eyeshadows Review and Swatches

Hi ladies! This time I'd like to review two eyeshadows by Benefit. I purchased them from Cocktail Cosmetics because they were on sale and because I was curious to try them out...Oh, and because I don't have many matte eyeshadows! :P
getaway and soft shoulder

The shades I own are Getaway and Soft Shoulder.
Getaway is a chocolate brown and Soft Shoulder is a nude pink.
These eyeshadows come in a rounded packaging that contains 3,5gr of product.
getaway and soft shoulder

Review: regarding pigmentation, I was expecting a better performance from these eyeshadows! It's good, but not THAT good! Apart from that I found these babies very soft and finely milled. They work quite well when it comes to blending too.

Overall: I like these eyeshadows and I would repurchase them, as they are very natural and versatile colors and I love the texture, even though their pigmentation is not outstanding.

Hope you've found this review useful!
That's all for now!

Review: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin

Hi ladies! Today I'd like to talk about a product I really love... It's the UDPP in Sin version.
If you already know the regular version of UDPP, this one has just one difference: it's shimmer!

In fact, the packaging isn't purple, but gold as well as the primer itself.

Review: It's a golden/bronze shade with frost/shimmer finish. The consistence is a little more creamy than the regular UDPP, but nothing more. The results are the same, great performance ( long lasting ) and e/s color enhancement.
But it's not just that....I love this version because it can be used as a primer under the eyeshadows, but also on its own as a shimmer eyeshadow on the entire lid to create e simple and classy look! I always use it when going to university with my favorite mascara to create a simple and nice look in just a few minutes.
the UDPP Sin brush applicator

Overall: great quality (like the regular UDPP) with one lovely feature in addition...The shimmery finish. I highly recommend this product. It's versatile and very useful! It can be purchased online on many uk websites.

That's all for now! Hope this was helpful =)

Sigma Brushes: Eyes Kit - My Review...

Hey lovelies! In this post I'm going to review the Sigma brushes Eye Kit.
click to enlarge ( E70 and E55 missing here)
Before the review: I purchased these brushes more than a year ago, so I think I can review them quite well after testing them for so long. I haven't been paid for doing this and these are my own and personal opinions on these products... So let's move on to the review!

Review: This is made up of seven different brushes. Recently Sigma has changed the names so I'll write both names (old and new ones):

Medium Angled Shading - E70 (I don't remember the old name since I've currently given this one to my mum after testing it of course!) - Angled, tapered, flat top. Ideal to apply highlight shades underneath the eyebrow and on the inner corners. It can also be used for a precise application of darker shades on the crease area. Natural bristles.
I say: this is a good brush. I agree with them that it's a multi purpose brush. The bristles are quite soft and I didn't find any particular problems with it.

Small Angle - E65 (old SS266)  - Essential for the application of gel or cream eyeliner on the upper and lower lash line. This brush is also excellent for filling out the eyebrows. Synthetic bristles.
I say: nice brush I've used it particularly when applying eyeliner and I found it quite simple, although the very soft bristles made it a bit tricky.

Large Shader - E60 (old SS252) - Flat shape is ideal for application of cream formulas and eye shadow primers. It also works great with loose eye shadows or pigments. Can be used to apply color all over the lid or precisely on the lash line. Natural bristles.
I say: I LOVE this brush! My absolute favorite from the kit! I carry it everywhere I go and I use it for loose e/s, pigments and cream eyeshadows as well. Perfect shape and great quality!

Pencil - E30 (old SS219) - Precise application of color on the crease, outer corner, and upper and lower lash line. Also ideal to smudge out pencil liner. Natural bristles.
I say: this one's very good for what they already say, except from the lashline as application can be quite messy if you're not a pro. I think it's too soft for smudging to, but for applying the e/s in the outer corners and crease it's perfect!

Tapered Blending - E40 (old SS224) - Rounded and tapered top. Specially designed to apply and blend color on the crease. Natural bristles.
I say: my absolute favorite brush along the the E60! Blending is so easy with it that sometimes I feel like a pro  =P

Eyeliner - E05 (old SS209) - An extra-fine tipped synthetic fiber brush that delivers a precise, firm, even stroke to line the eyes.
I say: instead of using the E65 I use this one to apply gel/cream eyeliner and it's perfect for smudging too! I really like this one better than the angled one.

Eye Shading - E55 old SS239) - Soft and dense with a rounded finish. Can be used to apply pressed or loose eye shadows and pigments. Ideal to build intense color on the eyelid. Natural bristles.
I say: very nice brush, although I find it a bit too small, but the bristles are very soft as well. I prefer using the E60 for applying e/s and pigments, but this can be a good alternative =)

Sigma Makeup offers a free travel size E25 brush with this kit, which is a blending brush. I like this one too, even if I'm in love with the E40, this is a good alternative!

What's more?
Top to bottom: E52, SS239 and SS224 in travel size
Sigma nas also kindly sent me the travel version of ss239 and ss224 and of course the quality is the same: very good! Moreover, being travel sized brushes, they're very useful to be carried around. SS239 is very soft and perfect to apply the eyeshadow on the lid, while ss224 (as I've already mentioned) is great for blending!

Overall: I'm very satisfied with these brushes as I found quality and honest pricing. Some of them are really good, from my experience I can highly recommend most of the brushes of this set! I haven't had any problems when washing them, such as discoloration or bristle loss; my idea is that brushes have to be taken care of obviously! Moreover keep in mind that I've been using these brushes for more than a year... ;-)

After a so long and good experience with these, I'd be really curious to test the face brushes! Have you ever tried them? lat me know!

You can purchase SIgma brushes online from their official website and if you follow the link you'll get the E25 brush as well if you place an order from them!

That's all for now, hope this review was useful!

FOTD: Back To School (I mean, Uni!) Look

Hi lovelies!
Here's my latest FOTD look...just a quick and easy look for school or, in my case, university... In a few days I'll be posting another FOTD of a look to be done when you're on a hurry and don't have time to apply so many products (let's say you have only 10 minutes...like me!)...

For this look, here's what I've used:

FACE
Collistar Hydro-Cream Gel
ELF All over Cover Stick in Ivory
ELF translucent matifying powder
ELF Studio Bronzer in Golden
ELF Blush and Bronzer Duo

EYES
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Hustle e/s from UD Naked Palette in the crease
With flash Hustle shows up a little better
Sin e/s from UD Naked Palette on browbone, inner corner and waterline
Max Factor False Lash Effect and L'Oréal Millions de Cils mascaras

LIPS
Too Faced Lip Insurance
Illamasqua Brink Lipsitck
Nyx round lipgloss in Peach

As you can read the eyeshadows are once again from the UD Naked palette but you can use a burugundy color instead of Hustle and a shimmer light pink instead of Sin ;-)
Hope you like it! That's it for now!
