Hello my ladies!
Another month is almost over...So it's time to have a round up of my favorite products for this month!

Mac Bite of an Apple Blush (from the VV collection)
A gorgeous shade! Flattering on many skin tones, with a lovely packaging! I'm so glad I've bought this one!

E.l.f. Shimmering eyeliner pencil in Black Bandit
As I've already told you, I've fallen in love with this eye pencil! So pigmented, soft and...cheap! :D E.l.f. never stops to surprise me =)

Layla Lash Extender Mascara base
I've been using this product so much! Actually, each time I apply mascara! It's very lightweight but yet so efficient!

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on double pencil in Zero and Whiskey
My favorite eye pencil(s) ever! perfect texture, easy to blend, great staying power...I love it!

Caudalie Hand and Nails Nourishing Cream
The best hand cream I've ever had. Here it's so cold in winter and my hands and nails suffer so much! This is the perfect remedy for keeping them soft as silk and protected...moreover it strengthens my nails too, preventing breakage.

That's all for now! What are your faves for this month? Let me know!

Layla EYE-ART Eyeshadows Review and Swatches

Here's another review for you girls!
This time I'm talking about Layla Cosmetics EYE-ART Eyeshadows. If you follow me regularly you might have noticed that I love shimmer, satin, pearl eyeshadows but I'm not a fan of matte ones...Well, these babies made me change my mind!!

Review: EYE-ART eyeshadows come in a cute square white packaging with a mirror inside. The are all matte. Why do I love them so much? Because they have a GREAT texture! They are so soft and yet so pigmented and finely milled! Moreover the shades are just lovely. They come in 12 different shades, I've got 5 of them to show you...

Overall: these eyeshadows can compete with many luxury brands in terms of:
+ high pigmentation
+ great texture
+ lovely shades
+ nice packaging
+ super easy to blend

They cost about 14€ each. Maybe it's not the cheapest price ever, but if you want some good matte eyeshadows they are worth trying in my opinion and if a shimmer-eyeshadows-addcited like me got to love them, I'm sure you will to! ;-)

Layla Cosmetics will open their online we shop very soon, in the meantime you can check their entire range of products on their website.

I hope you liked this review. Have you already tried them? What do you think? Let me know!

Thanks to Babila from Layla Cosmetics for sending me these products!

Madina Beauty Belletto Blushes: Review and Swatches

Hi ladies!
Today the weather is lovely and I feel better too...so time for a review!! :D
N°48 and N° 43
I'd like to show you two of my favorite blushes, they are from Madina Milano, a brand I love and admire so much!
Review: They are Beauty Belletto blushes and come in this sleek black packaging with a nice mirror inside, but let's move on to the product itself... These blushes are so cute, they come in concentric circles, each one of a different shade and texture. N°48 is all shimmery (but not too much!) and mixed together the various shades give a nice peachy color with gold shimmers. N° 43 has micro silver glittering and it comes out a bright coral, lovely!

Overall: these blushes are great on the skin and feel soft:
+ pigmented
+ lovely texture
+ good quality
+ nice packaging
+ nice price! (7,90€)

I don't see any CON in these babies. The price is great too for their quality! Moreover, if you don't fancy spending more money just for the packaging, they are also available as simple round pans and they cost just 1€ at the moment as there's a promotion online!

Madina Milano ships internationally too ;-)
I hope this post was useful! What do you think about them? Let me know!

Beauty Trend: Dark Lipsticks

This season Dark Lips are a must for fashion/beauty addicts, so I wanted to show you the ones I own to give you some inspiration =)
With this trend all burgundies, plums, dark purples, dark browns are welcome! Most of these colors are flattering with all skin tones, I personally think that fair skin tones looks very nice with dark purples and reds, but experimenting is fun, so there are no "rules" for choosing the right color ;-)

Mac Viva Glam VI (Lustre)
This is a dark brown with red undertones in lustre finish. It's great! Very intense color but not too pigmented for those who don't want to dare too much.

Elf Mineral Lipstick in Prime Plum
This is a gorgeous color! It's got a matte finish and looks amazing once applied. It's a chocolate brown with micro shimmers in it.

Layla Miracle Shine Lipstick n°2*
As the name suggests, this is a super shiny lipstick, referring to the Mac finishes I'd say it's a lustre with super cute sparkles. It's a burgundy-red with pink sparkles, very sheer but very pretty!

Mac Sharp Focus (Lustre)
Another amazing shade! A deep brown plum in lustre finish. Gorgeous!

Nyx LaLa Round Lipstick
All Nyx round lipsticks are super creamy and very pigmented...This one is no exception! A deep plum (looks red-ish in picture =P) that once applied is very nice and "not too much"

Layla Miracle Shine Lipstick n°10*
Last, but not least, another Layla lipstick. This is a stunning shade! a pure dark purple with multicolor shimmers in it. It's sheer but gorgeous!! If you like purples/violets, you'll love this one!

Swatches!
As you can see, there are many shades to choose...So are you ready to wear dark lips?? Do you like this trend? Let me know!

Now...I want them all!! E.l.f. Shimmering Eye pencils!

Black Bandit eyeliner pencil
Hi ladies! I know the title is that of a maniac obsessed with makeup, always makeup BUT I have a good reason for that!
Black Bandit eyeliner pencil
This morning I've gone to university with a simple look that included a bit of mascara and...E.l.f. Shimmering eyeliner pencil in black bandit (with silver sparkles in it)... As soon as I've applied it..I fell in love!

+ soft
+ smooth
+ pigmented
+ long lasting
+ cheap!

WHAT ELSE?? I mean, is there anything in these pencils that makes them not worth a try? I don't think so!
Black Bandit eyeliner pencil
So, if you're planning to make an E.l.F. order remember to include these babies, cause you won't be disappointed! (and in the misfortunate but improbable case you were, you would have thrown away just 1,70€... =P)

These are currently out of stock on the UK/EU/IT website, but they will be restocked in a few weeks or less. I think they are a great Christmas present too.

That's it for now!
Have you already tried them? Let me know!

Blogging Is The New Media

This post was written by B U B B L E G A R M, credits go to her for the significant initiative.

I heart beauty bloggers!
I support and recognise the beauty bloggers who portray real opinions on products expressing their experiences, obsessions and daily discoveries.

The way in which we buy products are quickly changing, consumers are becoming more aware and are actually researching products before they buy. The internet is proving to become an invaluable source within the beauty community by raising brand and product awareness. Beauty blogging is helping the consumer to make an informed decision; bloggers are increasing by the minute enabling the consumer / researcher to have a wide variety of written material to read from.

The majority of Beauty bloggers are not professionals within the sector; they are blogging as a hobby, as a way of therapy. They do not get paid to blog and do it for the love of beauty. This is what separates them from beauty editors, the reason why they started blogging was because they themselves were researching and experimenting with products and realised they had something to share and wanted to voice their opinion. Beauty bloggers love what they do and are genuinely interested in discovering new and existing products, some are ‘professionals’ in their own right, having a qualification in something does not mean you are a professional, however experience talks.

If you support the beauty blogging community, please add this stamp to your blog if you have one.

NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils: review and swatches

Hi ladies!
Sorry for the lack of posts, it's not a very good period for me... Anyway, let's talk about makeup! :D
Today I's like to show you my NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow pencils.

Review: the first time I saw these online I thought that the colors were just stunning, but what about creasing? Which is a common issue with cream/stick eyeshadows. So I decided to try some of them. The result both pleased and kinda disappointed me because:

+ they are very pigmented
+ easy to blend
+ easy to apply as they come in pencils
+ great as a BASE (not as a PRIMER!)
+ wide color range
+ they don't fade away
+ cheap!

BUT:
- they tend to crease if a primer isn't applied under them

Overall: I think that creasing is the main issue I have with these babies, so if you're looking for a good cream eyeshadow, pigmented and shiny, these are for you! BUT always remember to apply a primer under them to avoid creasing =)

Nyx Jumbo pencils can be found online on many UK web sites. I've bought them from Cocktail Cosmetics and Love MakeUp. They're very cheap as they cost around 3£.

That's all for now, I hope this was useful. Have you tried Nyx Jumbo Pencils yet? Let me know!

OCC Lip Tars Swatches: new Fall shades & My collection (Pic Heavy!)

Hi ladies!
Today I got mail! And in the package there were the new OCC Lip Tars Fall Shades I pre-ordered in late August from The Makeup Artist Boutique.

A quick Review: OCC Lip Tars are vegan lip tints, which means they are really pigmented and have a very good stain power, they remain on your lips even after eating or drinking. The only "con" is that they're a bit drying on the lips.
OCC Lip Tars are available in many amazing colors... I actually own 17 plus the clear one which I think it's a real beauty addicted must! and I'm going to tell you why later...

OCC Lip Tars for Fall are new shades created for the current season and as soon as I saw them swatches on Temptalia I fell in love!! I wanted them so bad!! SO here are the new shades:

Trollop
Stalker
Strumpet
Harlot
Trick
My favorite shades are Trollop, Harlot and Stalker but trust me, they're ALL amazing!
My collection has now reached 18 pieces and I love them all! One of the lip tars is Clear, which is, as the name says, a clear lip tar with no color in it...So what is this baby useful for? If you have any lip-safe pigment/loose powder eyeshadow, just add a little bit of it to a few drops of Clear to create your customized lip tint!! And the result is amazing... isn't it? It works especially well with shimmery pigments as the lip tars are matte in general, so you can create and mix your favorite pigments with it to obtain very unique shades!

Feathered is another useful one...It's a pure white so if you've got a color that's too dark or too bright you add a few drops of Feathered and mix it till you'll get the perfect shade you want! ;-D

Overall: this is a revolutionary product in my humble opinion. Before I discovered these, I had problems in finding a good covering lipstick for my very pigmented lips...Now I'm in heaven! :D
What I like about them_
+ FULL coverage and pigmentation
+ very wide range of colors
+ long staying power
+ vegan

What I don't really like:
- quite drying after a while
- they aren't no transfer unfortunately

Tips for application: I highly suggest you to put on a lip balm or a good lip primer to moisturize the lips before applying the tars. Moreover, these should be applied using a lip brush to avoid messing up with the color, as a few drops are sufficient enough to cover all the lips.

You can see the swatches of my collection on the lips. I hope this review was useful ^_^
Lip Tars are an American product but they are now available in many UK online web shops like The MUA Boutique, Cocktail Cosmetics, Love MakeUp etc... Have you tried them? Let me know!
That's all for now! Have a great weekend!
