In and Out of The Month: #1 October!

 Hi ladies!
I was going to write a post on my Faves Of The Month, as usual at the end of every month, but this time I opted for a different kind of post, so here's my faves (in) and outs for the month of October!

IN
Layla Compact Fard N°2: amazing pigmentation, great shade and it stays on ALL day! (seriously!!! I've applied it this morning at 6am and at 6pm it was still there on my cheeks!)
essence Maximum Definition Volume mascara: this one lengthens my lashes so well! and It defines them pretty well too! It's a great combo with MF False Lash Effect!

Mac Viva Glam Cyndi Lustre Lipstick: love, love and love this lipstick!!! along with my mascara combo and a bit of eyeliner and I'm ready to go out! It's creamy and quite pigmented and lasts quite long too =)

NYX Ultimate Pearl Eyeshadow in "salmon pearl": pigmented, long lasting, cheap...I'm so glad I've re-discovered this product! Great texture and pigmentation! I want to try some other shades because they cost just £3,45 and I think that for their quality they're worth it!

Clinique Anti-blemish solutions liquid makeup (foundation): I began using this foundation about three weeks ago and I really like it! Personally, I am not a foundation fan, BUT this one really does what I want! It's full covering, creamy and long lasting! I've been using it in my latest FOTDs too...I'm planning to review it soon, so stay tuned if you're interested! ;-)

essence Long Lasting eye pencil number 10 "almost famous": remember my haul post I did a while ago? I promised I would have written a review about the eyeliners...Well I can begin saying that this one doesn't write in the waterline! And I had bought it for this purpose =( I might give it another try on the lid though.

Catrice Cosmetics: mini haul and swatches

By popular demand (=P) here's my post on Catrice Cosmetics!

This is what they state on their website.... Catrice is currently available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, which is a big luck for me since I study in Lugano! I've recently discovered one of their stands and I honestly couldn't resist!

What grabbed my attention were the range of eyeshadows...
As soon as I swatched the product on my finger I was almost shocked by the intensity of color and the pigmentation of the shades!

Absolute Eye Colour Mono... Absolutely amazing!
I really think so! They are cheap, highly pigmented and gorgeous!

Their packaging is almost identic to the shu uemura one.

Here you can see shade 190 "Petrol Keeps Me Running", a shimmery petrol green and shade 140 "The Captain Of The Black Pearl" a gorgeous black with silver shimmers in it which I have dropped and pulverized =(.

These eyeshadows are finely milled and very pigmented. They cost 5,50 Frs.- which is around 4€! Amazing price for their quality! Each eyeshadows contains 2g of product and they're made in Germany. They last 24 months after being opened.

Ultimate Nail Lacquer Catrice is becoming famous for their nail polish range. They are available in 32 colours with a flat brush for a precise application. I haven't tested them yet, but I'll try some of them very soon!

Lash Plus Lash Growth Mascara and Intensive Lash Growth Serum: a magic combo!
This is a mascara that claims to achieve:

NOTD: Nfu Oh 62

Hi ladies!
Let's start the week with a bit of holo! =P
This is a NOTD with Nfu Oh polish n°62, which is an holographic antique pink, absolutely great if you love these kind of nail polish.

However, I had serious difficulties when applying this baby on my nails... I first applied base coat and I waited for it to dry, then I applied the first coat of it and in some nails it just got patchy and scratchy! I don't know if this depends on my nails, but I added a few drops of clear base coat in the bottle and mixed well and the result was better, application quite smoother and in two coats here's the result!

I seriously like this one, but I wish it hadn't this problem...Which, however, the other two shades I've bought didn't have!
Overall I'm satisfied with the result...What do you think about it? Do you like holos?? Let me know!

FOTD: Pink and purple!

a little bit blurred, shaky hands damn you! =P

Today it's FOTD post! I'd like to show you the look I created yesterday..It's a pink and purple look with shimmer and matte eyeshadows, simple but intense. I'm quite happy with the result but I would have preferred a less tick line on the eyeliner, which was a bit too soft and smudgy... However, here's the result and the products I've used:

Essence Haul

Hi ladies!
Just a quick post to show you my latest essence purchases =)

Here's what I've bought:
- maximum definition volume mascara (been trying this one since yesterday and I'm really liking it!)
- 2 in 1 kajal pencil number 06 "flirty&Hip"
- XXXL Nudes lipgloss number 1 Pure Beauty
- long lasting eye pencil  number 10 almost famous

- clean sensation hand gel. one of my essence must-haves!

As you con see from the swatches the lipgloss is barely visible, but it's actually a really nice pink veil of color on the lips!

Nfu Oh...Ooooooh!!!!! =P

Hi ladies!
You probably know if you follow my blog regularly, that I'm always hunting for new brands and I love to discover new products... This is the case of Nfu Oh nail polishes! I've recently read an article on a blog I follow (can't remember which one!) about these polishes and I've seen a couple of them swatched...Then I decided to look for swatches on the net and I ended up on this website that sells them from Estonia.

These polishes seriously amazed me... The Packaging is SO unique! It's a corset shape with the actual jar being a sort of Belle Epoque skirt, can't even describe it properly LOL!

They are priced from around 6€ to 8€ each (it depends on the collection) and I've chosen three shades from two different collections:
62: an antique pink holographic polish...Stunning!
38: a sparkling top coat with shimmering gold/orange/multicolor flecks in it
51: a prismatic shade with copper/deep purple base and blue,green sheen with sparkling flecks in it. It reminds me of Mac's Bad Fairy, but more prismatic!

Review: now, what do I think about these polishes? they are stunning in terms of shades. They are quite covering (excepts from 38 which is a sheer/top coat) and they last pretty long! Nfu Oh: where have you been all this time??? xD


Overall:
+stunning shades
+reasonable price
+good quality

- just the fact that they're not so easy to find.

Just be sure to check this website out because they sell them and you don't have customs to pay as they ship from Sweden! Postage is around 6€ and they arrived in just 4 days! (however it can vary depending on where you live)

FOTD: Cat Eyes!

Hi ladies! Here's a FOTD featuring my latest look. I wanted to experiment a little bit with eyeliner so I ended up with this "cat eye" look....Apart from the quite thick line the eyes are simple and I've added just a quite covering lipgloss on the lips. Here are the products used:
