Illamasqua Pure Pigments Furore, Static, Ore and Berber: Review & Swatches

Hi ladies!
This review was in my drafts since last year o_o yes because my first Illamasqua Pure Pigment was Furore and I purchased it almost a year ago! So I Thought I would review all the four Pure Pigments I curently own...

Ciao ragazze!

Review: these Pure Pigments come in a sturdy and sleek packaging which I love, but I hate the fact that they are a pain to open! Anyways... You get 1,3gr of product for 15,50£ (about 18€).
Furore: it's described as a "Champagne peach shimmer". I'd say it's a gorgeous nude pink with lots of shimmer in it.

Static: "Iridescent pink/silver". It's a white based pigment with purple glitter/shimmer and trust me, it's the sheerest of the four but it's stunning! Especially if applied over a matte and dark base.
Ore: "Rich russet bronze". A shimmery dark bronze, almost on the glittery side.
Berber: "Auburn Shimmer". An intense bloody red with stunning green shimmer.
The texture of these pigments is extremely fine and soft and they blend effortlessly on the lid.

Pigmentation is really good, apart from Static which I consider to be more like a glitter than a pigment. In these terms my favorite one is Furore because it's the most versatile one. Ore is great for a shimmery smokey eye worn alone, Static is perfect for layering and creating stunning effects over dark bases and Berber is lovely as a spot in the crease or as eyeliner with a wet mixing formula.

These pigments come to life if applied wet: you can clearly see the difference between the two applications in the pictures. If you want a subtle effect a primer is enough, but wet they really stand out!
L-R Furore, Static, Ore, Berber (dry)

L-R: Furore, Static, Ore, Berber (wet)
Static: "rosa/argento iridescente".
Ore: "bronzo rossiccio intenso". Un bronzo scuro, quasi glitterato.
Berber: "rame brillante".

Overall: these pigments are just great...If you don't mind spending some £/€ you'll be really pleased to deal with their texture and shades. The only downside is the packaging really hard to open. As they're powder pigments do expect fallouts everywhere. However you can apply them wet to minimize the problem.

Quantity is not a problem/downside to me because since they're so pigmented and bright you'll need just a tiny amount to use them. Among the  Illamasqua range, I would definitely recommend these products!

L-R: Furore, Static, Ore, Berber (wet)

Io li adoro TUTTI, alla follia. E' amore! *_*
