Big Haul: KIKO, Essence, Catrice and Elf PART 1

Hi ladies!
Here's the post about my recent buyings featuring KIKO, Essence, Catrice and Elf!

Nail Polishes...
I got three KIKO nail lacquers, 317, 324 and 348...Swatching them I found a good pigmentation and they were also fast drying...

Then I got a Catrice Ultimate Nail Lacquer from the Floralista Collection, 210 Just Married, a pearlescent ballerina pink...Quite sheer but very pretty!
In my Elf order I bought Purple Dream, one of the latest shades, I've already used it in my latest NOTD and it's very nice!

Finally two essence nail polishes: Colour&go 43 Where is the party? A gorgeous puple/green duochrome, and Multi dimension nail polish  78 Right, girl a pearlescent ruby red.

Hi ladies!
NOTD post feat. Elf Purple Dream nail polish, one of the newest shades from Elf...

I love this color!!! It's very shiny and bright! Application was ok, nothing to say...coverage is better than other Elf's polishes I've tried so far...Two coats are enough for full coverage...Duration so and so, after 3 days I had to remove it cause it started chipping...But for 1,70€ I don't really mind :P

1. Noto con molto piacere, leggendo i commenti ai NOTDs (e colgo l'occasione di ringraziarvi ancora) che apprezzate le mie unghie...Dovete sapere che però, fino a un annetto fa erano in uno stato comatoso! non crescevano e si sfaldavano sempre :( poi ho provato un prodotto, NailTek Xtra, per qualche mese e mi ha davvero aiutata a farle ritornare forti e sane :) però che fatica! XD

2. Adoro il riso in tutte le salse! Al vapore, con il sushi, cin il minestrono, nero, indiano (madras), lungo, corto...Insomma, chi più ne ha più ne metta! XD

3. D'estate mi scotto facilmente essendo pallidina, imvece sul viso, per via della mia ex-rosacea, non posso mettere creme di alcun tipo e, anzi, con il sole la mia pelle diventa quasi perfetta *_*

4.Ho una passione sfrenata per gli orecchini...Ne ho a bizzeffe! E più sono GRANDI, meglio è! xD Sto disperatamente cercandone uno a Croce, bella grossa, ma non l'ho ancora trovato purtroppo...

5.Sono alta 1,76m...Si dice che "altezza è mezza bellezza" ma mi ritrovo spesso a sentirmi a disagio tra le altre persone se sono la più alta XD Anche per questo non metto quasi mai i tacchi, anche se mi piacerebbe osare più spesso :P

Breve post per aggiornarvi sullo stato del blog...come avrete notato i post sono meno frequenti, non vi spaventate, non sparirò! xD Ho solo avuto degli imprevisti a casa e altrettanti impegni che mi hanno tenuta lontana dal pc momentaneamente, ma da settimana prossima riprenderò regolarmente con i post e (si spera!) anche con i video su YouTube :)

Nel frattempo qualche piccola anticipazione: inizerò a breve una mini collaborazione con la dolcissima Marty di Beauty&Kabuki suYoutube e Blog riguardante i preferiti mensili...Una cosa che spero possa essere utile a voi chd ci seguite :)


In più sono in arrivo alcuni video haul e post sugli ultimi prodotti essence, TopShop makeup ecc...

Insomma...ho pronte un po' di cosine per voi Glamourine! ;D

NOTD: What Do U Think?

Hi ladies!
I wanted to do a spring mani to celebrate the new season so here's the essence colour&go polish in What do U Think? (number 22) :) It's an apricot/peachy color, very bright ann shiny.

It's the first Colour&Go I purchase and I was pleasantly surprised by the coverage, smooth application and rapidity of drying! I'v aapplied two coats and a top coat.

Madina Milano Go Glosses: I love you!!

This is a review on a product I'm totally loving: the Madina Milano Go Gloss set of lipglosses I've puchased a while ago for Christmas holidays ...

Questa sarà une recensione sui Go Gloss di Madina Milano che ho comprato sotto le feste natalizie e che sto adorando!

Review: My first impression on these lipglossess was "ok". I found them to be nice lipglosses with a pleasant fruity scent, not too pigmented...But when I started to use them more often I completely changed my mind! These lipglosses are non-sticky, lightweight, moisturising and very natural once on the lips! I usually tend to avoid sheer glosses because I like my lips to be full of color, but these are the exception to the rule: they leave the right hint of color and give a very nice wet effect. As they're so lightweight, they tend to last around 4 hours on me, but I don't mind reapplying them as the packaging is very handy. Another great feature I love of these is that, once they are gone, they leave my lips so soft!

Stars Makeup Haven Eyeshadows Review and Swatches

After watching Goss Makeup Artist's video, I decided to write a post about Stars Makeup Haven eyeshadows, since they are said to be dupes of Mac eyeshadows (refills)...
It's been a while since I purchsed these babies, but I hadn't had the chance to review them properly until now. So here's my review on them.

Review: these eyeshadow singles come in a pan of 1.3 gr and cost 4£ each. MAC sell for £9.5 for 1.3-1.5g of product ( I think 12€ here in Italy). So what about the quality?
I've tried several of the shades available (they can be purchased online on Love-makeup) and I had noticed there were different finishes available, so I decided to try a few of them.



What I've noticed is that they blend really easily and have a really good overall pigmentation... However, some of them have really big fallouts issues! I'm referring to the "glittery" shades such as Happy Ending and Bondage, that I've found to be almost like pressed pigments! All the other shades I've bought are shimmer, except for Creme D'Nude (LOL like the Mac lipstick! :P) which is a matte nude/skin color and it's actually almost invisible on my skin!! I think it would be perfect for blending out dark colors and for smokey eyes...

Springtime: yet another FOTD!

NOTD: Illamasqua Scorn

Hi ladies!
This Monday's NOTD features Illamasqua Nail Varnish in "Scorn", a gorgeous matte black with latex/semi opaque finish, I really like this nail polish!!

Illamasqua Nail Varnishes never disappoint me, they are pigmented (two coats are usually enough for full coverage), dry up quite fast and last quite long (5/6 days on me with base and top coat) :)

Personally speaking, I find the packaging to be cute, but it can result a bit "cheap" if you prefer the classic sleek Mac packaging which, by the way, I love too...
