Liz Earle Superskin™ Bust Treatment Review

Hi ladies!
This review arrives reeeeeally late because I could never finish it.. So I'd like to apologize with the lovely Andrea who kindly sent me this product to try.

Just a minor premise: this product is said to be intended for "skin which has lost elasticity, firmness or is ‘crepey’ due to sun exposure, age, weight change, pregnancy or menopause, making it look and feel rejuvenated." My bust is that of a 23-year-old girl so, fortunately, I don't have any of these "problems" (except maybe from my weight loss... of many years ago though) so keep in mind that it might work differently on you :)

Review: Liz Earle Superskin™ Bust Treatment* comes in a 50ml pump. The consistence is that of a gel and it feels very light on the skin once applied. The first thing you'll notice is the strong - very strong - I'd say "botanical/herbal" scent... I usually love Liz Earle's poducts' scents, but this one I find it to bee a little too strong for my personal taste. However if you don't mind this kind of perfume it's not a big issue ;) Instructions say to apply the serum over bust, décolletage and neck daily until it's completely absorbed by the skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves the skin quite soft and fresh.

Overall: after a couple of month using this treatment once a day (for the reasons explained above), I found my skin to be very soft and quite firm, I'd say more than usual. However the results aren't so visible since my skin in this area was already firm. Overall I'd say this is a good product that helps preventing elasticity loss and helping to keep the bust hydrated and soft. Moreover, as you probably know if you use Liz Earle's products regularly like me ^_^, it's full of very good ingredients such as kigelia extract, organic rosehip oil, cranberry seed oil, pomegranate extract and mangosteen extract etc... So if you want to keep this area smooth and firm and you don't have any particular problem I'd suggest you to give it a try ;) no miracles indeed! But it helps the skin to keep its elasticity.
It's not the best product I've tried from this brand until now, but I don't feel like rejecting it :)

TROPPI O_O se vi dicessi il numero probabilmente mi prendereste per pazza sul serio xD e comunque credo che non riuscirei a contarli..perderei il conto!! xD

2. Qual è il primo rossetto che tu abbia mai comprato?
Oddio... non mi ricordo proprio... è stato davvero TANTO tempo fa!

3. Qual è il tuo rossetto più nuovo?
KIKO Smart lipstick numero 88 :) un rosso "bruciato" leggermente riflettente *_* l'ho preso fa poco dopo averlo visto in un video di Julia/MissChievous che lo ha swatchato e mi piaceva, l'ho trovato in negozio ed è ancora più bello!!!!

4. What is your favourite lipstick brand?
Oddio questa la vedo durisssssima xD Mac mi piace molto, perchè amo sia i cremesheen che i luste che gli amplified, Nyx anche, dato che sono cremosissimi, poi ho vati ELF e non sono afftto male! direi che la classifica è questa più o meno :)

5. Rossetto rosa preferito?
Chatterbox di MAC, che su di me risulta più acceso che su chi ha delle labbra poco pigmentate.

6. Rossetto nude preferito?
Mhmm non saprei... I Like It Like That di Mac è più un lilla lavanda però, se no Paris di Nyx :)

7. Rossetto pesca/corallo preferito?
Assolutamente YSL Rouge Volupté 27, stu-pen-do!

8. Rossetto rosso preferito?
Mac Viva Glam Cyndi, un rosso ciliegia (Lustre) che adoro!

9. Rossetto viola preferito?
 ne ho davvero pochissimi viola, per cui direi Madina Milano Lady Velvet in Purple Orchid <3

10. Rossetto fucsia preferito?
Hollywood Nights di Mac (collezione Heatherette) *_*

11. Colore inusuale preferito?
Assolutamente Red Full Stop ...sempre di Mac xD che non è originalissimo dato che ne ho varie versioni dello stesso colore ma di altre marche tipo YSL e Nyx (è un rosa/arancio neon xD), ma è particolare perchè può sembrare importabile ma per l'estate è bellissimo con l'abbronzatura! *_*

12. Colore scuro preferita?
KIKO Smart Lipstick n.88. come già detto lo adoroooo!! credo che questo inverno lo userò spessissimo!

13. Texture/finish preferito?
Assolutamente supercoprendte, cremoso e tendenzialmente mat :) per vari motivi: ho le labbra perennemente secche xD, abbastanza pigmentate per cui mi serve un po' piu di coprenza perchè si noti il colore e infine i rossetti troppo shimmer mi stanno malissimo xD

14. Altri preferiti?

I Just Needed Mascara...

Allora... Sono uscita mezz'oretta perchè mi è finito il mio adorato Flase Lash Effect... Ed ecco i risultati!! Shopping Makeupposo Ossessivo Compulsivo! (SMOC) O_O mi son davvero resa conto che dopo oggi, di essere una makeuppomane! xD

Non avevo ancora visto la Chic Chalet di KIKO dal vivo... e avrei dovuto continuare a non vederla!!! Le palette mi hanno stregata, ma (che ci crediate o no dopo questa strage xD) mi son fermata un attimo a riflettere e mi son detta che molti dei colori li ho già per cui ne ho presa solo una, 01 Unexpected Rosy Taupe. I blush e gli illuminanti sono molto carini, nonostante i colori non siano proprio originalissimi... Ma mi è piaciuto moltissimo lo 02 Fancy Coral e l'ho acchiappato al volo! Poi già che c'ero non poteva non scapparci uno smalto in saldo a 1,50€ :P (il numero 253).

Sephora Haul: Benefit, MUFE etc...

Before leaving for the holidays I went to the nearby Sephora in Como to stock up on my favorite makeup accessories...And I ended up buying something more! :P

First of all I wanted to buy my favorite sponges to apply setting powder... I love them as they are soft and deliver a good amount of product.
Next I needed a small makeup bag and I bought a very cute one: it's neon pink and transparent! :D
Then I saw a new "strange" product:  a metallic manicure and pedicure guide to favour nail polish application... I'll let you know if it actually works!

And that's all I really needed... But then I couldn't help myself and I had to go around the store and I ended up in front of the Benefit and MUFE stands... And I was it: the new Benefit They're Real! Mascara *__* I grabbed one immediately! :P I can't wait to test it properly! 22€ for a mascara...It has to work! LOL

Regarding the Make Up Forever stand... I avoided the Aqua Liners because they've been tempting me since last month and I didn't want to fall into temptation! What I ended up buying is the MUFE Full Cover Concealer (28,90€) because I've already got the HD foundation and I lov it so I wanted to try a concealer from this brand and this one caught me because it's described as "An ultra long-lasting, matte finish, oil-free, waterproof, full coverage concealer." Moreover "it is formulated to cover major imperfections like scars, hyperpigmentation, major discoloration, burns, and tattoos." The perfect concealer indeed!

Elf Studio Flawless Finis Foundation: Review and Swatch

Time for a review! In this case one of the latest products from Elf. I'm talking about Studio Flawless Finish Foundation :)

E' tempo di un'altra recensione! In questo caso di uno degli ultimi prodotti ELF arrivati in Italia ovvero la Studio Flawless Finish foundation :)

Review: this foundation comes in a very sleek glass bottle and you get 23gr of product for 7,50€. I don't usually care about the packaging, as long it's functional for the product and usage, but this time I have to say I quite like the bottle and I find the dispenser very easy to use. The shade I've tried is Caramel, a medium warm beige. Now, concerning the product itself:
- The formula isn't very thick and it's quite light once it's set on the skin without feeling heavy.
- You'll get medium to high coverage (easily buildable) and a little goes a long way! Plus it's got an SPF 15 which isn't bad at all!
- The scent is pleasant for my taste, but even if you don't fancy scented cosmetics, you won't be annoyed because it's quite subtle ;) however you'll be able too feel and smell it on your skin.
- The finish is semi-opaque so this means that if you have combination to oily skin you'll need to set the product with powder to get a matte finish.
- This foundation lasted reasonably well on my combination skin, considering the period (we're in summer so quite hot and humid!) and after about 4/5 hours I had to touch up with powder again.

I had never seen INGLOT products "for real", so I was very curious to try them out and see them with my eyes... And I wasn't disappointed at all!
Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take pictures :( so there are just the ones of the products I've bought with swatches.
First of all, the staff was very friendly and polite and the girls who work there let me swatch and try everything I wanted :D I was curious too see the e/s colors and swatch them... They're truly pigmented! However, since I hadn't any doubt of that having seen the swatches all around the web and having read all the positive reviews about them, I decided to concentrate on the other products.

Non avevo ancora visto i prodotti INGLOT "dal vivo", così ero molto curiosa di provarli e vederli con i miei occhi...e non sono rimasta per nulla delusa!
Sfortunatamente ho chiesto, ma mi è stata negata la possibilità di far foto :( così vedrete solo quelle dei prodotti acquistati con relativi swatch.
In primis, lo staff è stato gentilissimo e accogliente e le commesse mi hanno lasciato provare e swatchare tutto quello che mi attirava :D Ero curiosa di vedere gli ombretti e provarli...Sono veramente pigmentati! Tuttavia, dato che non avevo dubbi sulla loro qualità, avendo letto innumerevoli recensioni e visto swatch vari per il web, ho deciso di focalizzarmi sul resto della linea.

O₂M Breathable Nail Enamel
46 shades of the world's first Breathable Nail Enamel which contains Oxygen, to ensure nails' health and pevents them from turning yellow, but DOES NOT contain toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and camphor. They cost 13€ for 11ml of product.
I chose number 606, a warm lilac/pink with silver sheen.

Côte d'Azur...I'm coming!

Makeup al mare: ecco cosa uso!

n questo post vi mostro i prodotti che sto usando maggiormente al mare e che quindi trovo adatti alla stagione estiva ;)

Madina Milano Color Gard Concealer
Un correttore fluido con spf7. Sebbene la protezione si piuttosto bassa,  lo consiglio comunque perchè copre le imperfezioni ma ha una texture molto leggera e si fonde bene con l'incarnato :) io lo uso in spiaggia al posto del fondotinta per coprire le discromie, una volta applicata la mia crema idratante per il viso.

I Provenzali Balsamo Labbra all'Olio di Argan
Il sole fa bene alla pelle ma la secca anche, per cui applico tutti i giorni, mattina e sera, questo balsamo per le labbra che le idrata molto. Lo avevo già provato anche con il Karité e devo dire che mi piacciono entrambi!

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic
Ormai conoscerete bene questo prodotto, l'ho anche e recensito tempo fa e me ne sono innamorata! E' un toccasana per rinfrescare la pelle, prevenire i rossori e rimuovere i residui di trucco.

Avène Eau Thermale
L'ideale per le pelli sensibili e arrossate (come la mia!). Me ne porto sempre dietro un flacone in spray/nebulizzante così appena mi sento accaldata o arrossata ne spruuzzo un po' e il sollievo e garantito!

ELF Studio Cool Bronzer
Il quad matte della linea studio è l'ideale per "scaldare" l'incarnato la sera; infatti lo si può usare sia come bronzer che, usando le varie sezioni, come blush o illuminante. In alternativa uso un Mineralize Blush di Mac con finish dorato come illuminate per far risaltare l'abbronzatura :)

Elf Studio Cream Eyeshadow Review and Swatch

As promised, here's the review of new Elf's Studio Cream Eyeshadow I've recently purchased and showed you in  my latest Haul post :)

Come promesso, ecco la recensione del nuovo Studio Cream Eyeshadow di Elf che ho recentemente acquistato e mostrato nell'ultimo haul post :)

Review: the product comes in a sturdy plastic jar which is quite big if compared to the other studio pigments one. You get 10gr of product for 4€. The shade I got is Candlelight, a pale shimmering gold. Now what really surprised me about this eyeshadow was the formula: as you apply the product on the lid it actually becomes almost powdery! The formula itself is quite "dry" and it sets on the lid fast, but it's very easy to blend! The scent of this product, however, is horrible! It smells like some synthetic resin... eeeewww XP
The main issue with cream eyeshadow is generally the duration on the lid and the performance. I don't actually have an oily lid, but all the cream eyeshadows I've tried so far (Sleek's Molten Metal, Illamasqua Liquid Metals, Elf's cream ones from the basic range, Layla's etc...) do crase after a while even with the primer on... (the only exception: MUFE Aqua Cream eyeshadows but they actually cost 19€ each, not so cheap! ehehe) So I was hoping this would work...And it did! I applied it at 9,30 am and I removed my makeup at - drum roll - .... 11,30 pm! And it was still there! No creasing, no fading...nothing at all! I couldn't believe my eyes :D

Recensione: il prodotto è contenuto in una jar di plastica trasparente compatta e piuttosto ingombrante se la si paragona a quella dei pigmenti sempre della linea studio. Il contenuto è di 10gr per 4€. La tonalità che ho preso è Candlelight, un oro pallido shimmer. Ora...ciò che mi ha più sorpresa di questo prodotto è la formula: non appena si applica il prodotto sulla palpebra diventa come polvere! La formula in sé è abbastanza secca, per nulla cremosa o appiccicosa e aderisce velocemente sull'occhio, ma è comunque molto facile da sfumare! L'odore è qualcosa di indecente però! Sa di sintetico! =S
Il problema principale degli ombretti in crema è generalmente la durata sulla palpebra e la loro performance. Non ho una palpebra oleosa/grassa, tuttavia tutti gli ombretti in crema che ho provato finora (Molten Metal di Sleek, Liquid Metals di Illamasqua, ombretti in crema di Elf linea base, quelli di Layla ecc...) fanno le pieghette dopo un po' anche con il primer... - unica vera eccezione gli Aqua Cream di MUFE che però vengono 19€ l'uno ehm ehm... - Cosi speravo che questo funzionasse...E cosi è stato! L'ho applicato alle 9,30 di mattina e mi sono struccata alle...rullo di tamburi....23,30!! o_o Ed era ancora li! Intatto! Nessuna pieghetta, non è sbiadito...Nulla! Intatto! Non ci credevo! :D

Elf: new Products' Haul!

When I was away on vacation I was thrilled because I couldn't wait to come home and try the new products I had ordered online on the Elf''s website! So I took my time and I finally managed to take pictures of them and write a post to show you them all ;)

Quando ero via in vacanza ero eccitatissima perchè non vedevo l'ora di arrivare a casa e trovare il mio pacchettino con i prodotti Elf che ho ordinato online! Così sono finalmente riuscita a fare le foto e scrivervi il post per mostrarveli ;)

Studio Flawless Finish Foundation
My quest for the perfect liquid foundation continues (even though I have loved the Mac Pro Longwear and Clinique Anti-blemish solutions ones), so I decided to try Elf's new one.
I chose two shades: Sand (for winter, when I'm quite pale :P) and Caramel, to try out during these holidays, since I got a nice tan on my face :)
I have already tried the Caramel one once so here are my first impression is quite positive!

La mia ricerca del fondo liquido perfetto continua ancora (nonostante abbia amato alla follia il Pro Longwear di Mac e il Clinique Anti-Blemish solutions - che sto tutt'ora usando!), cosi ho deciso di provare anche quello nuovo di Elf.
Ho preso due tonalità: Sand (per l'inverno quando tornerò al mio pallidume :P) e Caramel, da provare durante le vacanze dato che ho il viso abbronzato :)
Ho già provato una volta Caramel e le mia prima impressione è abbastanza positiva!
- La formula non è particolarmente corposa ed è piuttosto leggera una volta fissata sulla pelle e non l'ho sentita per nulla pesante.
- La coprenza è medio-alta e modulabile e ne basta davvero poco di prodotto per coprire le imperfezioni e le discromie!
- il profumo l'ho trovato buono per i miei gusti, ma anche se non siete fan dei cosmetici con pofumazione non penso vi darà noia perchè non è particolarmente forte ;)
- il finish è semiopaco per cui se avete la pelle da mista a grassa vi servirà di fissarlo con la cipria per ottenere un finish completamente opaco.
- Questo fondo ha resistito piuttosto bene sulla mia pelle mista contando che siamo in estate, fa caldo ed è piuttosto umido al mare! Dopo circa 4/5 ore ho iniziato ad avere la zona T un po' lucida e ho dovuto ripassare la cipria.
Comunque sia, la recensione completa arriverà a breve per cui passiamo agli altri prodotti acquistati ;D

Studio Matte Lip Colour
Ok...Honestly, I didn't really need these! :P But I was so curious to try them out!! I chose Coral and Natural and as you can see from the swatches, they're completely matte.

Makeup Experiments: Purple 'n' Sparkle!

Here's the first one! Purple 'n' Sparkle! A more intense version of my latest FOTD, with a touch of purple with the gorgeous Madina Milano PrismaGlow e/s... I then added a touch of bright pink with Mac Hollywood Nights Heatherette lipstick with Nyx Glitter Mania hot pink on top, which I suppose isn't suitable for lips but it looked so sparkling I had to try it! :P

Prisma Shine "Live in Color" Fierce to Purple
I PrimaShine di Madina li adoro, hanno una texture unica e una resa magnifica sulla palpebra. Questo è un PrismaGlow, ossia ha un finish perlato ed estremamente luminoso!

Come si nita dalle foto, il prodotto è "inciso" con una trama a forma di catena e al centro delle labbra, davvero carino! Appena l'ho swatchato son rimasta a bocca aperta! E' uno splendido viola con una miriade di riflessi bluastri...Incantevole!

EOTD: Gold and Purple!

This should have been a FOTD post but I had no time to take pictures to the entire look so I came home without my lips done...But the eyes makeup is the main part of the look so I thought I could show you them anyway =)

Questo sarebbe dovuto essere un FOTD ma non ho avuto modo di fare foto al look intero così sono arrivata a casa senza più il lucidalabbra xD Ma il trucco occhi è la parte principale cosi o pensato di mostrarvelo comunque =)

Madina Milano app per iPhone!

E' da poco disponibile la app di Madina Milano per l'iPhone!

Appena ho scoperto questa bella novità sono andata a scaricarla eheh :) ecco come si presenta:

Come vedete c'è una pagina iniziale con le voci principali che portano alle varie sezioni...
Nella sezione "Negozi" c'è una mappa che in base alla vostra posizione vi fa vedere i punti vendita più vicini a voi (nel mio caso vicino a Como :D)























La sezione "Novità" mostra tutti i nuovi prodotti e le collezioni, oltre che le linee di prodotti per categoria (occhi, labbra, viso...)
Infine la sezione "Promozioni" vi rimanda alla schermata con la promozione/offerta attualmente disponibile sul sito per lo shopping online e nei negozi fisici. A tal proposito vi ricordo che dal 23 luglio al 18 agosto le spese di spedizione sono gratis se acquistate sul sito! ;) Per scaricare l'app cliccate sull'icona qui in basso...

Per tutte le melafonino dotate e amanti di Madina (come la sottoscritta) direi che questa app è davvero una bella idea! ;D
