Hi lovelies!
Here are a few products I'm loving at the moment! ;-D

Neve Makeup mineral blush in Summertime
I made my first order on the Neve Makeup/Truccominerale website a few days ago...and I'm very satisfied!!
This blush is said to be perfect for summer, and I agree! it's a peachy bronze color with gold shimmer and it's super pigmented!! It gives a nice glow to the cheeks without giving a "disco ball" effect! A must have for summer nights out! ;-D

Nyx Round Lipstick in Watermelon
You might have notices I love lipsticks LOL! And I'm completely in love with the Nyx ones!! This is one of my favorites of my huge collection! It's a warm coral pink with gold shimmer...lovely! This one's perfect for summer too! ;-) Creamy and pigmented...

Lime Crime Magic Dust in Nymph
I've read many things about this makeup brand and its owner, Doe Deere, but when I first purchased some of the eyeshadows in the range I wasn't aware of all the controversy going on! I don't actually care much about it, as long as the products are good... However, this eyeshadow is wonderful! It's a white pearl with gold sheen and can transform a simple look in a second! I find it perfect to be used in the inner corner of the eye to lighten up the look!

H&M Lip gloss in Sunset Dream
Such a pretty shade! A peachy gloss with gold sparkles...It's creamy, cheap....and smells like icing sugar! yum!

Mac Firecracker Eyeshadow
This is one of the products from the To The Beach Collection... I really like this color! It's a Frosted mid-tone red-orange, very bright and suitable for Summer :)

Mac prep+Prime lips
This lip balm/base is a miracle for my chapped & ever dry lips! It moisturizes and makes them soft and ready for lipstick! Loving it!

NYX Round Lipsticks Swatches & Review!

OBSESSED! Yes, that's the right word to describe myself when I realized how many of these lipsticks I actually own... 25!!!! (to be honest...31 if I count the dupes LOL!)
And let me tell you one more thing...I would buy more if my sense of pity towards my wallet wouldn't win the way!!
Now...enough with the chatter! Let's review these babies... :D
Nyx Round Lipsticks are known to be one of the most famous products in the Nyx range...They are creamy, pigmented, moisturizing ...and extremely cheap!! I always buy them from Cambree.de which sells them at just 1,99€ each! When I first tried a few of them I wasn very impressed...And after having tried so many shades I can say that they're definitely worth buying!!!

There are two main finishes: matte and shimmer, but I found out that there are also a few "frost" like shades...

NOTD: Sunset by Elf

Hi ladies! Today is NOTD time! :D And this time I decided to go for an Elf Nail Polish: "Sunset". I find Elf polishes to have really nice colors! This one is a burgundy/wine shade with a bit of gold shimmer. It's got a glossy finish, it applies smoothly on the nails and it's quite rich and covering (although not the most covering one I've tried). I really like this product both for its color and its quality/price ratio (just 1,70€ each!)

Shopping Online #4 Cocktail Cosmetics.co.uk

I decided to write a series of blog posts about "Online Shopping", which means I'll be kinda "reviewing" the best online shops ( selling beauty products obviously!) I fell in love with, because of their quality, price, service etc.


Probably many of you already know this website. I discovered it a while ago thanks to Mauryzya from Passione x il Makeup and now I'm officially addicted to this web shop!
It's a website very similar (but NOT affiliated) to Love-Makeup.co.uk I've already reviewed and I'm going to tell you my experience with this one too...
Many of the thing I'm going to write in this post are the same as the post about Love-Makeup.co.uk , as they're very similar!


Probabilmente molte di voi conoscono già questo sito. L'ho scoperto un po' di tempo fa grazie a Mauryzya del blog Passione x il makeup e ora non posso farne a meno! E' il sito molto simile (ma non affiliato) di Love-makeup.co.uk che vi ho già presentato l'altra volta, ma oggi voglio parlarvi della mia esperienza con questo sito...
NB: molte cose scritte in questo post corrispondono a quelle del post su Love-Makeup.co.uk per il semplice fatto che i due siti si assomigliano!


The Service

Great service!!! Fast despatch, very well packaged items and even faster delivery! My orders have always arrived in a maximum of 5 working days. Shipping costs to Europe (e.g. Italy) are usually 6.50£ (about 8€), but I've noticed that if the amount rises, shipping costs tend to grow (i've once made an esteem of the shipping costs and they were 10€), but unless you are going to buy the entire shop, XD I think 6,50£ is quite reasonable if you consider the quality of the service... Moreover they're always having promotions and sales on many items and very good offers concerning many brands...


Il Servizio

Servizio impeccabile! Spedizione rapida, pacco ben confezionato e consegna ancora più rapida! La merce mi è arrivata in non più di 5 giorni lavorativi. Le spese di spedizione per l'Europa (in questo caso Italia) ammontano a circa 8€ (sei sterline e passa), ma ho notato che se la quantità di prodotti cresce, dopo una certa soglia arrivano a 10‘, ma a meno che non andiate a comprarvi tutto il negozio xD 6,50£ è un prezzo ragionevole se si considera la qualità del servizio...e se si considera anche che hanno costantemente promozioni su molti prodotti, prezzi ridotti e sconti davvero interessanti!!

La lista di brand è pressoché infinita! Giusto per citarne alcuni: Mac, Urban Decay, Stila, Benefit, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, Too Faced, YSL, Nyx, Milani, Gosh, Pixi Beauty...e altre ancora! E arrivano prodotti nuovi ogni settimana...meglio di così! =D

Conclusion: my Must-Haves!
Overall I really like this website! It sells almost all the cosmetics brands I love the most and many of the products I love, often at a convenient price! Suggesting you any "must have" products is quite impossible, since all the brands mentioned above are "must haves" in my opinion! But if you want to try some of the best beauty products, here are some goodies you might like:

- Mac Pigments in old size!! That's the 7,5 gr ones!
- Mac Lipsticks (they often have discontinued and rare shades!)
- Milani eyeshadows
- Pop beauty shadow and cheek cakes
- YSL Rouge personnel miulti-finish lipsticks
- Nyx range ( huge range! )
... and many more!

Conclusioni: i miei must-have! 
In tutta onestà adoro questo sito! Vende praticamente tutte le marche di prodotti che amo e spesso a prezzi stracciati! Suggerirvi dei must-have è quasi impossibile, dato che tutte le marche citate prima sono dei "must have" in fatto di makeup, ma se volete provare alcuni de migliori prodotti in circolazione, eccone alcuni che questo sito vi offre:

- Mac Pigmenti "vecchio stile", cioè quelli ancora di 7,5 gr!
- Rossetti Mac (spesso di edizioni limitate o rari!)- Milani ombretti
- Pop Beauty ombretti e fard
- YSL rossetti Rouge Personnel
- prodotti Nyx (una varietà immensa!)
...e tantissimi altri ancora!

La mia esperienza con questo sito è una delle più positive in assoluto! Ecco perchè ve lo raccomando altamente!

My Favorite Mascaras!

Hi ladies!!
I've just come back from my second university exam and now I can relax a bit... =)
Today I'd like to show you a list of Mascaras I always use and love...

Let's begin with Sexy Curves by Rimmel. I discovered this mascara a while ago, when looking for a good separating brush with rubber bristles... I found it!! I think this mascara separates lashes in an incredible way! Moreover it adds a good length to the lashes while curving them...Two thumbs up for this mascara!

Then I tried Max Factor's False Lash Effect and all I have to say is...The name says it all!!! My lashes are really thin and a medium length, but this mascara manages to thicken them like no other! As for the lengthening part, I think it's not the best one, but if you want to add volume to your lashes, obtaining a "false lash" effect, then this is the best mascara!

Third, but not for importance...Is YSL Everlong mascara. This mascara is the most expensive in the list, but it definitely does what the name says! Everlong lashes...that is to say infinite length! Well, maybe not infinite, but rather impressive length is what this mascara gives to the lashes once applied...Apart from that, the other major thing I always notice when applying it is the ever-raved-for fan effect it gives to my lashes! I think that this mascara in couple with Sexy Curves one is a perfect combo!

Last, but not least, the new Lash Extension Effect by Max Factor. This one has been sent to me by the lovely Laura from Max Factor Italia with some other products from the summer collection I'm going to try and review soon ;-)

I haven't tried it in conjunction with the other mascaras so I can clearly tell you what it does. I was impressed by the length of the wand and the numerosity of the bristles... The main merit of this mascara is its lengthening effect. It really increases the length of the lashes while separating them quite well (I say "quite" because I think the best separating one still remains Sexy Curves). As for the volume, it can be achieved by applying two or more coats of it repeatedly. This is a really good mascara!

Now, to sum things up a little bit =P
- if you look for VOLUME ..try False Lash Effect mascara
- if you want LENGTH, try YSL Everlong mascara or MF Lash Extension Effect (the cheaper, the better! xD)
- if you need to SEPARATE your lashes, Rimmel Sexy Curves is the best one, as well as YSL Everlong one.

If you can afford more than one mascara here are my favorite COMBOS:
- False Lash Effect (VOLUME) + Sexy Curves (SEPARATE)
- False Lash Effect (VOLUME) + YSL Everlong (FAN effect and length)
- False Lash Effect (VOLUME) + Lash Extension Effect (LENGTH)
- Sexy Curves (SEPARATE) + YSL Everlong (FAN effect and length)

As you have probably noticed, my favorite mascara is Max Factor's False Lash Effect! =D But I also love Sexy Curves because is the only one I've tried that succeeds so well in separating the lashes so far. But to be honest, All of these are great mascaras!

NOTD: Illamasqua Collide

Natural light—>

One of the best colors I've ever seen... This Illamasqua nail
varnish is a neon pink with satin finish (I added a top coat to make it glossy). It applied so smoothly and dried in a couple of minutes. I applied two coats... love it!! xD The quality is so high... Despite being a bit pricey (£13 on the Illamasqua's website), I find it a great product.

I think it's a really summery color! It would be even better on tanned skin, but since the weather here is so awful, I think I'll have to wait till the sun comes out...

The pictures were taken both with flash and in natural light, when a couple of shy sun rays were trying to escape from these horrible rainy clouds =P

NOTD: China Glaze GR8 holo

To be honest...I had never tried a holographic nail polish before... So today I wanted to give my CG GR8 a try!
I'm very pleased by the result... At first I just saw a nice sparkling gold polish, but the more it dried up, the more I could see the holo effect! The swatches show two coats + top and base coat... It's not one of the most pigmented shades I've tried, but the color is very nice indeed...

Shipping costs to Europe (e.g. Italy) are fixed at 6.50£ (about 8€) which I think is quite reasonable if you consider the quality f the service...Moreover they're alway having promotions and sales on many items and very good offers concerning many product brands...

Faves of the Month #2: May

May has gone so fast! Today I'd like to share the products I loved and used the most in the last month.

Smashbox Blush Rush in "Paradise"
The name says it all: a paradisiac blush! It's a lovely peachy pink with gold shimmer which is amazingly buttery and soft on the cheeks! Doesn't this description reminds you of another great blush? That's right! It's got almost the same finish of Nars Orgasm blush! But I've found this one much more pigmented and blendable! It's also got a cute package with a twisting little mirror underneath it...so lovely!! *-*

Nyx Eyeshadow in "Flamingo"
A nude pink with golden shimmer...Very natural, highly soft and pigmented! I love Nyx eyeshadows and this one is among my favorites!

Estee Lauder Signature Lipstick in "Venetian Rose"
A lovely dark pink, very pigmented and cherry scented! It feels so creamy on the lips! And it's very wearable too =)

Nyx Mega Shine lip gloss in "Smokey Look"
The perfect combo with the Estee Lauder lipstick above, this is a nude beige with a hint of gold shimmer, semi-sheer and ultra hydrating! It's got a cherry scent too.

NOTW (Nails of the week!) - BarryM Mushroom

This was my latest manicure (I've just removed it after a week), a nail paint by BarryM named Mushroom. I ordered it two weeks ago from their website because I wanted to try out their nail polishes, so I picked this one along with two others...

It's very creamy and intense and I had to apply just one coat to obtain the result you can see from the pictures....

Since I first saw this polish I thought about Chanel's Partculiere 505 because they look so similar! I mean, I believe they're similar since I don't own the Chanel's one ( I don't fancy spending 25€ for a nail polish LOL). However, the color is very nice and with a base and top coat it lasted more than a week...Well done BarryM! ;-)
