OCC (Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics) Lip Tars Review & Swatches

First of all, I'd like to thank Emma and Kath from The MUABoutique I purchased these products from, for having been so kind and nice! ^_^ Here's their website

in the picture (L to R): NSFW, PAGEANT, ANIME, GRANDMA & MELANGE.

Next, I'd like to say that... Misfortune persecutes me!! =( yes because when I opened my package, I sadly found out that one of the tars had been opened somehow (I think during the "flight") and I had to clean it with water and loads of soap before being able to use it...my hands are still a bit red! (see pictures on the left)

Let's move on to something nicer...review and swathes! =D

I purchased five of the Lip Tars:

- Pageant
- NSFW
- Anime
- Grandma
- Melange

Let me get to the point...They're stunning! I'm in love with them!!! I make it clear now: if you OFTEN have (like me) DRY and chapped lips...These are the solution to your problems!!!! As I applied them on my lips (they go on very smoothly!) They instantly became soft and felt like silk!

I don't usually do that, but as this sudden effect amazed me, I immediately looked at the INCI to see the ingredients: first one is Ricinus communis! that is to say, castor oil! than seed oil, vitamin E and so on... Now that's what a great INCI means! Of course they're vegan *-*

Here's what they look like on my lips:

PAGEANT:

ANIME:

GRANDMA:

MELANGE:

My favourite ones in terms of application were NSFW and Melange... The one I had more "trouble" putting on was Grandma just because I have very pigmented lips, nothing impossible though!
Lastly, let me say that these lovelies were hard to put off!!  needed a good makeup remover to clean well my lips! I don't think this is a bad thing though, because it means they resist water and if you go out and drink something you don't need to put them on again.

So, what do you think about these OCC Lip Tars? I personally love them! Let me know!
That's all for now!

  2. ciao! ottima scelta! ^_^ si è meglio mettere un primer o un burro prima di applicarle perchè se ce le hai screpolate seccano, io non ho grossi problemi quindi non lo metto, ma è sempre consigliabile farlo ;-)
    un bacio!
