Hello my dears!
August is almost over so I'd like to share with you my favorite products for the month... As my skin got tanned (finally!) I chose the products that best suited it...
ELF Warm Studio Bronzer
A great quality at an amazing price! This lovely bronzer has a fine golden shimmer to lighten up your skin! Just 4€ for a soft touch of gold...yay! =)
Too Faced Glamour Gloss in Tickle Me
For this Summer this is probably the best lipgloss I've tried so far! So creamy, pigmented and long lasting! Even after dinner its gold sheen remains on my lips...In addition it's got the Too Faced lip injection to make the lips even more turgid! (18€ at Sephora)
Barbie Loves Stila Smudge Pot in Little Black Dress
It's so famous...And I couldn't live without it! A great gel eyeliner that it's perfect as a cream eyeshadow too... A black with purple sparkles..Long lasting and pigmented! I think this is a must and a Cult for every makeup addicted...Perfect for lining or creating a smokey eyes look.
ELF Nail Polish in Coral
Perfect for summer...this is a coral pink with gold sheen...I liked it so much that I bought it for my mum too! LOL
Just 1,70€ for a nice product...It doesn't last so long, but with base and top coat it can reach the 4 days goal =)
L'Oréal Volume Millions de Cils Mascara
At first I was skeptical about this mascara...But then, after trying it in combo with my beloved MF False Lash effect I began to like it! It's a good product: it separates the lashes quite well...I found it particularly useful for the lower lashes and helpful to increase their volume. Not bad, l'Oréal, not bad! ;-)
That's it for now!

A Wishlist on my mind...
Hi lovelies!
It's been a while since I began adding some beauty products to my new Wishlist (I must update the one on the sidebar LOL!) and I wanted to share it with you...=)
Chanel Le Vernis Paradoxal 509
I think think this is already a sell out product! LOL It's just come out and every beauty addict talks about it! I don't own any Chanel nail polishes, I find them too pricey, but if I am going to buy this, it's purely because I find it to be a nice color! What do you think about this new shade?

Urban Decay Naked Palette
Another sell out product in the US and I think it's going to be the same here in Europe! Personally, I love UD eyeshadows, I own the Ammo Palette and I carry it with me everywhere I go, moreover I'm in love with nude/neutral/beige/brownish shades, so this new palette it's my new must-have! I hope to get my hands on it!

Illamasqua Precision Ink Eyeliner
The new upcoming Illamasqua collection for Fall 2010 is coming soon, but their eyeliners are already available online... I'm still looking for the perfect black eyeliner....Maybe this will be the one I'm looking for!

Mac Venomous Villains Collection
I've grown up watching Disney movies, I've got more than 60 VHS cassettes and when I found out there would have been a new Mac collection featuring Disney characters I couldn't be happier! I'll buy some products for sure! If you can dream it, you can do it! =D
That's all for now...Have you got a wishlist for this Fall/Winter? Let me know!

Save Money for a Lip Insurance!!!
Don't worry I'm not crazy! =D I'm just talking about the (supposedly) new Lip Insurance by Too Faced! At least here in Europe, because it's available in US since May... However let's talk about this product.
What is it? As its name suggests, it's a lip primer. Until now I've only tested two other lip primers, Urban Decay lip primer potion and Mac Prep+Prime for Lips... Both are good but they didn't satisfy me fully.
It's consistency is that of a viscous lip gloss. It's got no scent at all and it's white. Once applied to the lips it feels creamy and moisturizing and it leaves a soft white veil on them.
How to use it...
Yes because if you're clumsily like me you could and up using it wrong! Firstly this has to be applied just once! One layer is enough to do the job. Then you'll have to wait for just one or to minutes until you'll feel it drying on the lips, just like a stain. This is when you should apply your lipstick.
Overall
I reeeeeeally like it! I wouldn't have expected this to be so good! I mean, it does its job! I've tried it with a NYX Round lippie (if you are a Nyx lover you'll probably know they're very creamy but not so long lasting) and it's worked perfectly! It's made it last for more than 4 hours! I had a drink too and at the end of the day the stain of the lipstick was still there! So I really recommend this product!
So, save your money for a Lip Insurance! You might be satisfied! xD
That's it for now! Have you tried any lip primers? let me know! =)

What I like
- It works
- consistency
- quality
What I kinda dislike
- a bit pricey, if you don't fancy spending 18€ (at Sephora)
- works for lipsticks, not tested with lip gloss

I'm finally Back! & Haulage post =)
Hi my dear lovelies!! I'm so sad, my summer vacation is finally over =( but at the same time I'm so grateful to each one of you who contributed to reaching my 100+ followers... that's why I'm preparing my first ever blog giveaway!! during the next week I'll be posting it on my blog so stay tuned! ;-)
Regarding my holidays... they've been great! Especially the last two weeks in Monte Carlo...I love that place! Wonderful weather, sea, food and....shops!!! There's also a Sephora in MC and how could a makeup addicted like me not jump in and buy buy and buy?? LOL So here's my haul directly from Monte Carlo's Sephora...
OPI polishes aren't so easy to find in Italy, unless you buy it online or you live in the few big cities that sell them, so I decided to buy at least one... I ended up buying Over The Taupe (the ever raved for! LOL) and Yoga-ta Get This Blue! A stunning deep blue with purple and light blue shimmer...Amazing color! I can't wait to try it out!
| Notice: Strada e/s is very pigmented, but my swatch is horrible! =P |
Finally I indulged in with the Too Faced stand... I picked up La Vie en Rose Blush, a lovely pink powder blush with lots of golden micro shimmers and Glamour Gloss in Tickle Me...And this one has become one of my favorite lip glosses of all the time! It's a pearly pink sugar with golden sparkle, so perfect for a tanned skin! I love it! It's also got Lip Injection in it, which is another "thumbs up" to add...
I love Nars...But sadly this time the Stand was quite poor...So I only bought one product: Strada eyeshadow. It was a while since I raved about it and now it's mine! It's a gorgeous lavender with gold shimmer...so soft and pigmented! Too bad it costed 23€!! pheeeew....
That's all for now...Have you indulged in some products recently? Let me know! ;-)

Faves of the Month #4: July
A little later than usual, but here I am with my favorite products I used during the past month... ;-)
Elf Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Sun Kissed
I was skeptical about this one...but when I tried it on my skin the result was great! It's perfect for summer if you are a bit tanned and want to add a golden glow to your skin!
Mac Lipstick in Red Full Stop
This is a lustre-finish lipstick from the Trend F/W '09 Collection... it's a glossy coral with no shimmer at all and I adore it!! Perfect for summer as well.
Elf Mineral Infused Mascara
I love silicone/rubber mascara wands, so when Elf came up with their new mascara I wanted to try it asap! This isn't my favorite mascara, but I still like it very much! It's got a quite long want to grab all the lashes and lengthens them very well!
Nyx Ultra Pearl Mania pigment in Charcoal 05
Amazing product! Crazy pigmentation and ultra shine! It's the perfect eyeshadow for a smokey eye look!!
OCC Lip Tar in Hush
The perfect complement for a smokey look with the Nyx pigment above...I love OCC lip tars and this is the perfect nude pink for lips...ultra pigmented and long lasting.
That's it for now...Have a nice day!!

The Battle of eyeshadow primers!
When I began using makeup, I usually did not apply an eyeshadow base...The main reason was that I simply didn't know there was a product specifically meant to make eyeshadows last longer! But since when I discovered the world of primers, I couldn't live without them! So far I've tried many eyeshadow bases, some are good, others better and other ones are perfect! Let me review the ones I've tried till now =)
Elf Mineral Eyeshadow Primer
PROs:
- cheap (3,50€ !!)
- good consistency
- long lasting
- Mineral! =)
CONs:
- the e/s finish
Review: I think this primer is very good for its price! It makes the eyeshadows last long without creasing! However, I've found that this product makes the e/s look "flat" instead of enhancing the color. Overall it's a good primer and I'd definitely use it but maybe with matte eyeshadows!
Mac Prep+Prime Eyes
PROs:
- quality
- long lasting
CONs:
- quality/price (11,5£/about 13€)
- finish and consistency
Review: although this primer does its job, I won't repurchase it!! It feels drying non the lid and makes it very hard to blend the eyeshadows! Its consistency is very similar to that of a concealer, in fact it's also quite covering (and this is the part I like the most about it, so it evens out the lid). Overall I think this one's better for oily lids (not like mine) but there are definitely better products!
Benefit Stay Don't Stray Concealer/Shadow Base
PROs:
- consistency
- the "concealing" part
CONs:
- expensive!! 24€!! pheewww!
- quality/price
- it creases!
Review: this is a product that evens out the lid (the concealer part =P) and it also can be used under the eye for the dark circles. However, I think it's too expensive compared to other primers which have the same quality! Moreover, after about 4/5 hours it starts to crease!! I wouldn't repurchase this one as it's quite pricey and not so long lasting!
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
PROs:
- consistency
- long lasting
- finish
- quality/price (16€ at Sephora)
CONs:
- actually... I haven't found any! =P
Review: this is one of my favorite e/s bases! It makes the eyeshadow last very long without creasing! It's got a very nice consistency that allows the e/s to adhere perfectly to the lid. I'm currently using this and I'd totally repurchase it!
Urban Decay Primer Potion
PROs:
- quality/price (about 11£ online)
- consistency
- long lasting
- finish
CONs: none!
Review: Who hasn't heard about it?? =) this is the best base I've tried so far! it's consistency is almost the same as the Too Faced one, but this primer really makes the eyeshadows stand out! I'm actually using the Too Faced one, but as soon as I run out of that I'll use the UDPP!
Overall: all the eyeshadow bases I have tried make the eyeshadow last long. However they don't have the same consistency at all... I found the Mac Prep+Prime one to be the worst in these terms, followed by the Benefit and the Elf one... The best primers I've tried are the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and the world-famous UDPP.
Hope you found this helpful =) What's you fav e/s base? let me know!
