Mini Haul: Bourjois, Astor & Essence

Today as usual I couldn't resist and I had to buy some things from the Manor perfumery in Lugano, before catching the train to come back home after uni...Here are my little buyings:

Bourjois Blush

A very nice-textured blush with a delicate flowery scent (which I cannot define yet!!)..The only problem is...This is not the shade I wanted! =( As I opened it I noticed it's almost matte...and I was looking for a shimmery/pearly one...The problem is that I swatched the tester on my hand in the shop, but then I picked the wrong one! Silly me!! However, the product itself is undoubtedly good!

Astor Black Nail Polish

I just needed a black polish ...because I didn't have one in my growing collection... I'll try it out soon

Essence nail art guides

This is what I liked the most..here's an example of what I'm talking about...even a clumsy like me could do something quite precise by just applying the sticky guide and then applying two coats of polish over it...after it had dried I removed the sticky and voilà! =D

That's it for now...It goes without saying that I have to buy another Bourjois blush! This time..the right one! LOL

The title itself is quite explicative ...I just received my Love-makeup order ...and i LOVE everything!! xD LOL
First of all...The package... I don't usually care a lot about how the items are boxed and such...But this time the products arrived in a cute little brown box and they were wrapped in a lovely barbie pink tissue-paper...so cute!! The bubble wrap was pink too!! *-*
Anyway...let's move on to the products..

Urban Decay E/S Primer Potion
Perhaps the most famous e/s primer! I've recently got the "Sin" version, but I also wanted to have the classic one... Because I love it! The best e/s base I've ever tried!


Smashbox Photo Finish Primer

Never used a primer before...Because I felt I never needed one! But this one caught my attention when I read about it in a blog post by the lovely Emma, who advised  me to try it out....I followed her advice ...and I'll try it out very soon.

Mac Heatherette Lipstick

This lipstick is absolutely gorgeous!! Gorgeous color, gorgeous packaging, gorgeous finish....Gorgeous!! xD Moreover, it's my FIRST Mac Lipstick! Yay!! xD I have to admit it...I fell in love with the vanilla scent of this one...and if eachMac lipstick has it...I think my collection will grow up very soon!!

Mac Mineralize Blush in "Hot Planet"

The second Mac blush I own actually...The colors are lovely! I can't wait to try this one too...

SO many things to try! xD I guess it's time I begin to test all them...

What the HAUL???

No, I haven't got crazy! xD It's just that I'm euphoric because my Cocktail Cosmetics order arrived today and I'm so happy!

I've ordered some products from this site, having read many positive reviews on it... And I can confirm that it's an excellent website to order from!

Here's what I bought:

NYX The Runaway Collection palette in "Catwalk"

I'm officially in love with NYX since I first decided to buy some products from another European website (Cambree.de). I have tried their lipstick, their glosses their eyeshadows...Everything has such a good quality! And this pallet isn't an exception...I love it! 10 colors (9 shimmers and 1 matte) which I absolutely adore! I can't wait to try them out on my eyes!

NYX Round Lipstick in Spell Bound

Yet another round lipstick...I've got more than 15 I guess... xD But they are so cheap and creamy..and pigmented!!! This one was missing in my collection, so I decided to give it a try...Here is the swatches on my lips. I think it's a lovely color!

Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin

Last year when I went to France I had the chance to buy UDPP...I fell in love with it! The eyeshadows are so pigmented and have such vibrant colors with it that I was so sad when I ran out of it! However I decided to try the shimmer version of it: UDPP in SIn...The consistence seems the same as the regular one, plus the shimmering shade...I will try it very soon!

Urban Decay Lip Primer Potion

I've never used a primer on my lips before lipstick/lipgloss, simply because I felt I didn't need it...but recently I have noticed that if I apply a very pigmented color on my lips it tends to fade away very soon. So I decided to try this lip primer by UD. It smells a little like sugar and is a clear shade. I'll try it and see if there's a difference.

MAC Mineralize Blush in "Fad-dabulous"

I don't have many MAC products, but I really wanted to try the Mineralize blushes...So I opted for the Fad-dabulous one! It's a very nice shade with a peachy pink and golden veins...

So many products to try!!! I will keep you updated =)

Faves of the Month #1: April

April's coming to the end! So here are my favorite products for this month!

Essence eyeliner pen
This is one of the best eyeliners I've tried so far. I had already tried the "black mania" one, but I was very disappointed, it was so drying and smudging! This one is precise and leaves a very dark line on the eye without smudging and it stays on all day! Moreover it's so cheap!! quality&price, great combo!

Nars Orgasm
Probably the most famous blush on the web! (and not only on the web! XD) A great quality and a soft texture... with a golden peachy pink on your cheeks...A bit pricey, but a great quality!

YSL Everlong Mascara
I've tried so many mascaras that I cannot remember how many of them I had to throw away! One thing is sure: this is one of the best mascaras I've used! Great applicator and no clumps at all! Even after three coats... The quality is great and when I apply it my lashes are longer and thicker...Fan effect assured!

NYX round lipsticks
Which one??? Actually EVERYone! Each one I've tried till now! They're all so creamy and soft! And also so cheap!! The only CON is that they do not last very long, but for less than 2€ I don't think it's a big problem at all! SUper pigmented and great hydration...what else? A HUGE color range!!!

NOTD: Essence Catwalk Pink

I decided to change...And I chose this color by Essence "show your feet" line... But it can be applied on the nails too obviously! It's a purple polish with blue and purple shimmer in it...I love it!!

The bottle says "extremely long-lasting and great coverage with just one coat!"...
However I had to apply two coats to get the full color...I hope it will last as long as my previous mani!

What do you think of this color??

After a week =O

...After A WEEK my mani is sill great!! I can't believe it!!! If you remember my latest NOTD post, I showed you my minty manicure with claire's nail polish (two coats) + base and top coat obviously...The following day I just added a coat of Prism Nail Varnish by Illamasqua... Since that day, I haven't touched my nails.... And today, after a week, my manicure is still almost perfect!! As you can see clearly from the pictures...

Obviously, the edges are a little worn, but I don't think it's a big problem at all!! So...Is the Illamasqua varnish so amazingly good?? Is my mani good itself? Whichever the explanation, I think this is the first time my mani lasts so long!!!

What are your secrets to keep your mani perfect and to make it last longer? Let me know!

Mini Haul: Bourjois & Essence

Today I went to m beloved "Manor" shopping center in Lugano and I bought some products I had already seen and wanted...

- Essence "show your feet" polish
- Essence Nail Polish Remover Pen
- Bourjois 1001Lashes

I really like the color of this polish! A deep purple with blue shimmery sheen! The shade is "catwalk pink" and I am so curious to try this out!

I've also bought my favorite nail polish remover pen at the moment, the essence one, which is perfect!!! It's got a cherry scent and it's so precise! My must-have for completing the mani!


Finally I was curious to try this mascara out...1001Cils (or 1001Lashes) by Bourjois...I always hear and read reviews and comments about this brand, but I never bought any products...this one's the first I'll try and I was really impressed by the brush because it's a silicone one and it's got a spiral shape to grab the lashes so that it "multiplies the number of lashes", at least this is what the packaging says! I'll verify it by myself of course =D (I don't think my number of lashes will increase though xD)

Illamasqua Haul

A week ago I purchased some Illamasqua products, featuring the new nail varnish from the Body Electrics collection, Prism... Here's what I got:

Nail Varnish in "Prism"


A lovely color, which unfortunately doesn't show well in the picture...It has a very nice pearly effect and I think it's a perfect top coat to give a shimmery finish to the mani.



Pure Pigment "Static"
I wanted this one SO bad!!! And I finally got it. I can say I'm officially in love with his pigment! I love Illamasqua pigments in general, I've also got "Furore" which is a pink shimmery color and this one is a white shimmery pink with purple sheen on it, gorgeous!

Intense lipgloss in "Frenzy" and "Indulge"
These are lovely! They remind me of the OCC Lip Tars which I also love, I haven't tried them yet but I'll sure make a review...
