This is a FOTD post with the look inspired by Urban Decay's Spring Look and Face Chart I've seen on their Facebook page... It's a lilac/purple look with black in the crease and nude lips...
The black part/stroke is very defined so I've chosen to soften and blend it a little bit more...

Elf Shimmer Eyeliner Pencils Review and Swatches

Hi ladies!
Time for a review! =) In this case I'm going to review Elf's Shimmer Eyeliner Pencils

Review: the first shade I had bought is Black Bandit, a black with silver sparkles, and I fell in love with it!! It's very easy to apply, creamy, it has a soft texture and it's quite long lasting as eyeshadow base. So I decided to purchase some other shades.
My thoughts on these eyeliners aren't very positive if we treat them as eyeliners: they're not very smudge-proof and (on me) they don't write very well in the waterline, but they do their job in the lower lashline.

FOTD: Bluish/Grey Smokey eyes

As promised here's the FOTD for the look I wore last night ^_^ I chose a simple grey/bluish smokey eye with a nude lipgloss... My skin is suffering from stress so it's not at the top of its condition atm, in the photos you can clearly see it...Anyways, here's what I've used to create the look:

NOTD: Illamasqua Scarab

Hi ladies!
Here's my latest NOTD. I've decided to apply Illamasqua Scarab Nail Varnish.
It's a gorgeous ruby red with coppery sheen and metallic finish...from the Art Of Darkness Collection.
I love it!!

Application was smooth and quite easy. Coverage is good and it dries up quite fast. The photos show two coats with base and top coat.

Collistar Lozione Tonica Equilibrante no-alcol: Review

Scusate la latitanza di questi giorni ma sto sudando per dare gli ultimi esami per questa sessione invernale! Domani sera sarà tutto finito! (spero!) :P

Nel frattempo vorrei recensirvi un prodotto che ho scoperto grazie ai campioncini omaggio ...W i campioncini! xD
Sto parlando della "Lozione Tonica Equilibrante no-alcol" di Collistar, per pelli miste e grasse.

Come ormai saprete dai miei FOTD io ho la pelle normale/mista e la mia crema idratante è sempre di Collistar, la Hydro-Crema Gel ai Liposomi d'acqua. Questo Natale ho ricevuto il "kit" per pelli miste comprendente la mia crema e la versione "sample size" di questo Tonico e  del Gel Detergente, così ho iniziato a provarli.

Today I've gone out for some shopping, but since I didn't find anything "interesting" on sale, I've decided to buy my favorite mascara, Max Factor False Lash Effect, since I've almost finished it... But I noticed a new product in the Maybelline stand... I'm talking about Maybelline One By One Volum’ Express Mascara, which is, I suppose, the latest mascara from this brand.
First of all I've noticed the very bright packaging, then I've seen that the wand is quite fatty and...Surprise! It's a silicone/rubber one! <3 I HAD to have it! LOL!

FOTD: MAC Stylishly Yours Inspired Look

Hi ladies!
This FOTD was inspired by the promo picture for the MAC Stylishly Yours Collection. It's quite simple, but very classy!
Obviously the model has perfect skin...I haven't! :P the eyebrows are lighter than mine, but I wanted to recreate the look since I'm in love with the colors (coral, cherry red...) and the eyeliner.

Sleek Makeup Blushes Review and Swatches

Hi ladies!
As promised in my previous post, here's the review of the two Sleek MakeUp blushes I've bought and showed you in my YouTube video (I still can't believe I have filmed my first YT review lol!)

Review: these blushes come in a black sturdy case with a nice mirror inside them. The product contained is 8g and costs 6€. The shades I own are Pixie Pink and Rose Gold.

Sleek Makeup iDivine Sparkle Review & Swatches

Here's my review of the iDivine Sparkle palette by Sleek MakeUp, as promised in my YouTube video review.

I've received this palette instead of the Bad Girl palette I had ordered three weeks ago during the 50% off sale.
At first I was a bit disappointed as I thought I wouldn't like it, however after seeing it I changed my mind!

Review: The palette has got 12 eyeshadows, 9 of them are matte with sparkling glitters, one (Noir) is matte, two are satin (silver and gold). I like the packaging of the iDivines as it's compact and...sleek! LOL! Moreover there's a huge mirror very useful if you're traveling.
These eyeshadows are super pigmented and the texture is very creamy and soft! The only "powdery" shades are the satin ones, gold and silver...This palette is LE and as long as I know it's the only one with eyeshadows names. The quality of this product is very good indeed, especially for the price! 8,50€.

When applied dry and BLENDED the sparkling eyeshadow loose almost all the glitters, so if you were scared by the sparkling effect, don't worry, as they'll result as matte e/s with some sparse glitters. However, if applied wet, these eyeshadows maintain all their glitters, so if you look for a more sparkling and shimmering look that's the right way to use them.

The swatches show the eyeshadows applied dry, BUT UNblended to show you the difference between the sparkling and the satin shades...

Overall: this palette is really good if you want:
+ smokey eyes and dramatic looks (dry eyeshadows)
+ smokey eyes plus a sparkling effect with wet eyeshadows
+ if you like dark eyeshadows

These eyeshadows:
+ are highly pigmented
+ have great texture and blend really well

- some of them are a bit too powdery

Skip this palette if:
- you don't like dark colors
- you hate glitters/sparkles

Here's my FOTD for today! I've just come back from shopping with my mum and I wanted to show you the look I've realized to go out ^_^ It was a while since I last used black to do a makeup look so I wanted to do something a little more intense than usual. Sleek Makeup Haul (Finally!!)

My Sleek Makeup order (made during the 50% off sale) has finally arrived!!
As I already expected, the Bad Girl palette has been replaced by the LE Sparkle Palette, but I have to admit that, when I opened it, I was really surprised and pleased by it! After all, I'm glad I found it in my package!

Here's a quick haul of what I've purchased:

Two Blushes: "Pixie Pink" and "Rose Gold"

They're soft and quite pigmented. I prefer Rose Gold and I think it's the perfect dupe for Nars Orgasm! Pixie Pink is a little more on the sheer side, a dupe for this is the Studio Blush "Pink Passion" by ELF, which is more pigmented and less "powdery". Overall, I like these babies!

ONE water based Finishing Powder

I purchased this because I thought it was a "matte" powder to fix foundation. However, I've discovered that it's almost like an highlighter! In fact it's a nude shimmering powder with golden reflections. Although it's gorgeous once applied and blended on the skin, I was expecting something different! I'll probably use it as highlighter...

Translucent Pressed Powder

This powder was another disappointment, because even if I've picked up the LIGHT shade, it's still too dark! This means I'll use it as a contouring powder or as a blush because it's really dark for me! However the texture is really fine and comfortable making it easy to blend!

Nailed Polish in "Royalty"
A gorgeous ruby/burgundy color with micro shimmers. Lovely! And it dries up very fast!! I wish I had bought other shades!

iDivine Palette Original and Sparkle
I'm sure you already know the Original palette: it's lovely! I already own the Storm one so I was expecting pigmentation, great texture and gorgeous shades... and I was right! This palette is lovely!

The Sparkle palette has pleasantly surprised me! As soon as I opened it I was caught by the sparkling colors (of course LOL!) and the intensity of the shades! I'll review it in a specific post because this palette is, in my opinion, underestimated! The colors are very nice and pigmented and the sparkles aren't annoying at all! Well done Sleek! ;)

That's all for now! I'm planning to make a video review (the first one!) on YouTube for these products, to show you each one and what I think about it, as soon as my camcorder arrives, that is to say this Monday, so this means I'll be testing these products during the weekend!
